The present reference book gives comprehensive advice and guidance on the design, calculations and efficient operation of boiler furnaces for hot water and power applications.The focus of this book remains on Boiler furnace components design, calculations, testing policies and up-to-date established best practices.Over the years I have put together many technical papers and essays and it was with this in mind that I have structured this book. Boiler Furnace Engineering is such a broad subject incorporating a multitude of disciplines, many problems, and a wide variety of solutions to many situations, unlike some disciplines that have clear cut methods. Many hours were spent trying to obtain information to assist me in my work and hence the theory behind the structuring of this book.

Currently Professor of Mechanical Engineering, Cairo University . Fellow ASME,AIAA & ASHRAE.Over 41 years of experience in Design of Boiler furnaces .Published over 520 papers a 10 books.
