Chromolithograph. Page measures 13 5/8" x 9 3/4". This bold lithograph featuring several species of edible mushrooms was published in "Les Champignons Comestibles et les Especes Veneneuses avec Lesquelles Ils Pourraient Etre Confondus" by Fritz Leuba (1848-1910), a Swiss pharmacist, mycologist, and artist. He published his work in 1890 based on field observations as a guide to distinguishing poisonous mushrooms from edible ones. Plate XIII. Lithographed by H. Furrer, after paintings taken in the field by Leuba. Seller Inventory # 319187
