The Boneyard (Paperback)

Paperback. August 30, 2004. Deep in the Arkansas woods, investigators uncover a mass grave containing 117 bodies arranged in a spiral pattern behind an abandoned church. The remains span decades, some ancient, others disturbingly fresh. Motorcycles, bicycles, and personal effects litter the site. But the true horror lies in how they died, and who buried them there. What starts as a childhood fantasy soon twists into something far darker. A haunting descent into ritual horror, The Hut Brothers explores how evil seduces the innocent, how loyalty becomes a cage, and how the past never stays buried-not when something hungry is waiting in the dark. The story begins forty years earlier, when thirteen-year-old Jamey Johnson arrives in the small town of Granger with his strange Texas drawl, wire-rimmed glasses, and a bicycle unlike anything the local kids have ever seen. Charismatic and fearless, Jamey quickly becomes the leader of a neighborhood gang, founding a secret club called the Hut Brothers in a crude shelter built near an ancient Caddo burial mound. Blood oaths are sworn. Ceremonial war paint is applied and the horror begins. This item is printed on demand.
