La Connaissance De Jésus-Christ, Ou Le Dogme De L'incarnation Envisagé Comme La Raison Dernière. De Tout Ce Qui Est — Théodore Combalot. A compact Catholic theological treatise that centers on the Incarnation as the culmination of God's self-revelation and the source of salvation. It argues that the Trinity is rightly known only through the Incarnation, and it defends a sharp twofold order: nature (creation) and grace (deification). Creation is from nothing, yet God remains wholly distinct from creatures. Humans are an embodied spirit, united with matter in a single personal process through union with the Logos. The work contrasts essence-centered unity with personal union in Christ, presents Christ's life, death, resurrection, and the Eucharist as the means by which grace is poured into the elect, and affirms the central role of the sacraments. It depicts Jesus as universal mediator, rooted in patristic and scholastic authorities, and it argues that knowledge of God and reality comes through revelation safeguarded by the Church. The text also includes polemical defense of Catholic tradition against rival modes of thought and emphasizes the Church's unity, continuity, and authority.
