Large 8vo, i-vii, 906 pp, folding frontispiece map, black and white illustrations in the text. Slight scratch to the front board but otherwise an excellent copy in a dust wrapper which is slightly marked and lightly repaired at the edges. A faithful facsimile of the fourth edition of this exhaustive work which was first published in 1875.
