About the Author

Manel Oll� (Barcelona, 1962) is a professor in the Humanities at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) and in the Bloom School of Literature. He has published four books on poetry and a Catalan short stories anthology. He writes literary criticism in different media. He has translated Honor� de Balzac, Gao Xingjian, Pu Songling, and Chinese Classical Poetry. He has also published essays and articles on Chinese history.
