This is a nice pocket Book of Common Prayer, dating back to 1766. It is in good antiquarian condition, leather covers rubbed, front cover detaching, interior there is a modern owner bookplate, pages have been trimmed very closely with occasionally some loss of a few letters at the edge, obviously used but not abused. Plates are crisp and lovely - and include not only biblical events but also a plate of Guy Fawkes. A number of the Bentham editions do not contain engravings, but this one does. ; 16mo 6" - 7" tall.
