Contemporary polished calf, burgundy in hue, gilt tooled and rolled, a.e.g., raised bands to spine, with green leather label, silk tie present, spine faded and some general scratches to the leather, ownership to front endpaper, loose leaf early on but sits nicely in the text block, light spotting to front and rear endpapers, but contents clean and bright, handsome typography, a smart edition; the Book of Common Prayer followed by 'A Companion to the Altar' and 'A New Version of the Psalms of David' by Brady & Tate, both originally published 1824.
