Fine condition dark textured blue cloth boards with blind-stamped front cover lettering and cross with exceedingly bright gold spine lettering. Includes Preliminary Page Certificate Certifying that "this Edition of the Book of Common Prayer has been compared with a Certified Copy of the Standard Book, as the Canon Directs, and that it Conforms Thereto, Lucien Moore Robinson, Custodian of the Standard Book of Common Prayer, October 1929"; Preliminary Page entitled "The Ratificaiton of the Book of Common Prayer; Preface dated "Philadelphia, October 1789; Concerning the Service of the Church; Service of the Church: A Table of Psalms for the SUndays of the Church Year; Lessons for the Christian Year; The Calendar; Tables for Finding Holy Days; Articles of Religion. The inner front board, inner rear board, and upper spine edge contains a vintage former owner neatly printed name. All other pages are in fine unmarked condition and the binding is tight and exceedingly square (see photographs).
