Bound into full purple cloth with cover decorations in gilt, white, pink and blue. Text printed in black and red. TEG. Decorative silk moire endpapers with lion emblem. Interior designs and type are from the English edition. Eleborate woodcut initials. Two full page woodcuts on pages 350 and 351 as well as frontispiece and engraved titlepage. Fraying to edges of the cloth, spine is faded. Front cover feels a bit shaken but is holding. Evidence of bookplate removal from front free endpaper. Laid-in is a smaller 14 page pamphlet "A Key to the Principal Decorations in the Prayer Book of King Edward VII., As Designed and Carried out by C. R. Ashbee" descrbing the work. Also laid-in is a (viii) page unbound gathering titled "Supplement Showing Variants from the Prayer Book of the Church of England in the Prayer Book of the American Church", in the same format as the main text.…
