Interior in very nice clean condition with just very occasional pencil margin notes which could be erased. externally the leather has split down the front hinge but is still well held by the cloth, internally the black end papers hinges have been strengthened with black tape. on the second blank page is a presentation inscription from 1955 to Moretonhampstead Church in memory of Colonel Henry Albany Hammond formerly of the East India Company born March 10th 1842 and died May 31st 1934.
