In a richly decorative devotional binding of velvet over boards, with elaborately cast metal covers in high relief depicting biblical scenes within oval reserves, bordered by portrait medallions, with metal clasps and chain fastenings across the spine. Lower clasp lacking; upper clasp slightly loose at its attachment to the rear board, but functional.A finely printed copy of The Book of Common Prayer, in red and black print with ornamental initials.Inscribed to George Wilmer Bell on the occasion of his baptism at Christ Church, Newgate Street, in 1892, and later to Andrew G. H.
