A handsome full morocco book of common prayer, with embossed gilt page edges, A very handsome mid-19th Century edition of the Book of Common Prayer, for the United Church of England and Ireland.Bound in full brown morocco, with metal spine tips and board edges, this copy features charming embossed gilt decoration to the text block edges, and a metal clasp between boards. Lifting visible to head of spine.Bound with Proper Lessons to be Read at Morning and Evening Prayer, The New Testament, and A New Version of the Psalms of David by N. Brady and N. Tate. Bound in handsome full morocco. Externally, with rubbing to leather extremities. Mild rubbing to metal spine tips. The odd small surface-level loss to leather. Slight denting to hinges of clasp. Hinges slightly starting, but very firm. The odd spot to endpapers. Bookseller's sticker to front paste down. Lifting to head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound.
