Approximately 4 inches tall. Condition Report Externally Spine good condition gilt title, gilt bands, worn top and tail. Joints good condition cracked to the front joint but holding well, rubbed and worn. Corners good condition bumped and worn with some minor loss. Boards good condition contemporary straight-grain red morocco leather with gilt inlaid borders to the upper and lower boards, black marks on both boards. Page edges good condition all red. Internally Hinges good condition sound, strained after the end paper but holding well. Paste downs good condition marbled with gilt lined dentelles. End papers good condition marbled, subsequent end papers tanned and foxed, previous owner s inscriptions and notes in ink and pencil to the front free end papers. Title good condition black text within a lined border, tanned and foxed. Pages good condition tanned and foxed throughout. Binding good condition. See photos. Publisher: see above.
