Compact (8x13cm) leather bound hard cover with attractive decorations and titles, and cover wear mostly confined to spine ends. There is an intact and functioning gilt clasp. The gilt edged pages are not numbered; there is an 1872 inscription inside front cover, and at the front are a number of tables, calendars and lessons. There are 7 colour plates but missing frontispiece. Delightful compact book of prayer published in 1863.
