About the Author
Christopher Dow is an award-winning writer and editor living in Houston, Texas. He has written for numerous local, regional, and national publications and written, produced, and directed a variety of video productions. From 1994 to 2012, he was the editor of Sallyport/Rice Magazine, the magazine of Rice University. His books include novels, collections of poetry and essays, and several books on the Chinese martial art tai chi chuan. His several awards for writing, editing, and video production include a Silver Award for Historical Documentary from the Houston International Film Festival and a Grand Gold Award from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education for Best Magazine.
