Volume I only (i.e. lacking Volume II which contains the engraved plates). 17 x 11 cm. pp vii, 516. Paper-covered boards, half bound in calf; title labels to spine. Boards heavily worn with loss of calf to front corners; joints starting to crack. Endpapers foxed; bookbinder's ticket to front pastedown; pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Pages with occasional handling marks. Both hinges cracked but holding.
