Book Four of Magick: Shadow of War (Books of Magick)

War looms, a promise of death not only in this world but in others as well.
After returning to the safety of their home, Kristina and the children are given a brief respite from the magickal world before they are sought out yet again.
A presence in the forest leads to a transformation that will change them forever, but who has the power to cause this great change if not the Fae Queen herself?
In a race against time, a quest is undertaken to enter the underworld in an attempt to retrieve what was lost, but only those of the same blood must go or none shall return.
Now that Midnight’s influence is heavy in the world, the balance of power is shifting, causing mankind to rise up against all things magickal… but the factions of magick have not the power they once had.
With the questers trapped in the underworld, Kristina has but one option to save her daughter’s life. She must call upon the devil himself, risking her life and more on an almost forgotten suspicion.
