Written by leading experts in the field, The Book of Jeremiah: Composition, Reception, and Interpretation offers a wide-ranging treatment of the main aspects of Jeremiah. Its twenty-four essays fall under four main sections. The first section contains studies of a more general nature, and helps situate Jeremiah in the scribal culture of the ancient world, as well as in relation to the Torah and the Hebrew Prophets. The second section contains commentary on and interpretation of specific passages (or sections) of Jeremiah, as well as essays on its genres and themes. Jack R. Lundbom. Ph.D. (1973), Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley, is a Life Member at Clare Hall, University of Cambridge. He has published numerous scholarly articles and books, including the three-volume Jeremiah (1999; 2004).

ùCraig A. Evans, Ph.D. (1983), D.Habil. (2009), is the John Bisagno Distinguished Professor of Christian Origins at Houston Baptist University. He has published several books on archaeology, Jesus, and the Dead Sea Scrolls, including Jesus and His Contemporaries (1995) and Jesus and the Remains of His Day (2015).

Bradford A. Anderson, Ph.D. (2010), Durham University, is Lecturer in Biblical Studies at Dublin City University, Ireland. His research focuses on the Hebrew Bible and its reception, and publications include An Introduction to the Study of the Pentateuch (2017).
