I am pleased to be able to offer: "The Book of Job", from the translation prepared at Cambridge in 1611 for King James I, with a Preface by Mary Ellen Chase and Illustrations by Arthur Szyk. (I have also listed "The Book of Ruth", a companion to this one, identically presented and bound.) This large but relatively thin hard cover book is contained in a gold colored slipcase and the Sandglass Newsletter (Number 16K) from the Heritage Club is laid-in. There is a full-color, very detailed plate by Szyk as the Frontispiece and 5 other similar plates, all bright and very detailed. Condition: This book is in very good condition. As mentioned the slipcase is a bit bumped and battered with some minor splitting around the opening. The book however is in much better condition. There are some light and small smudges of darkening on the front cover, barely discernible given the oatmeal covers. Inside, the book is unmarked and the pages and plates are bright and clean throughout, without toning or foxing. Seller Inventory # 4135
