Contains a colour frontispiece, five other colour plates, including a folding colour plate, thirty-six monochrome plates, and numerous in-text illustrations.- Volume III: COOK-FLOUR. Contains a colour frontispiece, six other colour plates, fifty-six monochrome plates, and numerous in-text illustrations.- Volume IV: FLO-ISIS. Contains a colour frontispiece, five other colour plates, forty monochrome plates, and numerous in-text illustrations.- Volume V: ITA-NAV. Externally, mostly smart, with the odd faint mark to boards, a little darker to volume I front board, and minor rubbing to joints, a little heavier to Volume V. Bumping to the heads and tails of the spines, and a little heavier to the extremities, with minor loss to cloth. Boards skewed, lighter to volumes VII and I, heavier to volume II front board. Slight fading to joints to volumes VII and III, and to the extremities of Volumes II and IV. End papers are generally bright and clean, with small signs of spotting and browning. Previous owner's ink inscription to front pastedown of volume III. Internally, generally firmly bound, with signs of wear to hinge between frontispiece and Volume I title leaf. Tape to Volume I frontispiece. Pages are bright and clean, with minor signs of browning to first and final leaves. Good. …
