Fourth edition hardback, revised and enlarged 1884, with no jacket. In overall good used condition with minor signs of age, handling and storage - blue cloth boards rubbed to edges and title label to spine tanned and scuffed. Internally clean. Binding tight and appears little read; no annotation - brief gift inscription to half-title dated 1886; toning and light spotting to page-ends with light scattered foxing to prelims but text bright and clear throughout.
