The copyright year of 1926 is the only print info on copy right page; Includes 26 illustrations by Bateman, illustrator. This collection are short stories or long rhymes which was typical for the time. Also, some drawings are not politically correct either. Illustrated cover boards are very readable and defined despite not having a DJ. However, there is edge wear, soiling and rubbing along edges. Darkening on spine. The pages are browning and do NOT have any folds, tears or writing. Light soil marks and browning along page edges. Binding is firm- no loose pages or signatures. No DJ. This is NOT a remainder nor ex-lib. This book is at least 90+ years old and is excellent condition given age. Note: We have a closed shop - so our books are not handled by public. We make every effort to fairly describe the condition of the book and identify any flaws (writing, tears, creases, folds), including that of the dust jacket. We use the "Fine or Near Fine" book condition judiciously when grading of the book or dust jacket.
