The third step along the Ralston hierarchy, a health and racial hygiene program founded by Webster Edgerly in 1876 to promote a new race of Caucasians filled with health, vitality and personal magnetism. The book includes much on what to eat and drink, how to strengthen the brain, how to dress, with information and the creed of the Ralston Club peppered throughout (with opportunity to buy a franchise!). Many engravings and other illustrations throughout. Lime green cloth ornately stamped in silver and black, 304 p., illus. A few marks of faint soiling to the front board, else a remarkably preserved, expensively bound book.
