With recipes for soups, fish, game and poultry, salads, creams, puddings, jams, pickles, beverages, vegetarian dishes, and more. As well as sections on weights and measures, provisions in season, and household tips. In the original quarter cloth binding with paper covered boards. Externally, smart with light rubbing to the extremities and minor bumping. Light fading to the spine with the odd mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot. Age toning to the endpapers with the previous owner's bookplate to the front endpaper. Very Good.
