Item description from seller

Four volume set in dust jackets. Tall octavos. All clean and unmarked in price intact dust jackets. Very good. Mardrus' French edition became enormously influential among Symbolist and Art Nouveau artists and writers. Mathers successfully transferred that aesthetic into English, creating one of the most beautiful literary renderings of the tales.
