8vo, xvi plus pp189, complete with 3 B&W woodcuts . Hardcover no dust jacket. Black buckram binding with blind stamped penguin to rear boards and gilt titles to spine in reasonable condition with some old water damage to both boards and total fading to gilt. Inside however, except for a little aging to end papers all pages in excellent clear and bright condition. A fascinating subject.

Nikki Green Books is based in Glasgow. Beth Lowell-Green is a third generation bookdealer, who along with her partner Nikki reside in sunny Glasgow. The origins of the business began with Beth's grandmother, Eve Lowell, who started The Dartmoor Bookshop in Ashburton at the back of Beth's grandfathers newsagent shop before moving to her own premises in the town. Beth spent her formative years working with her parents, who started Sue Lowell Natural History Books, based in London. We specialise in natural history, Scottish interest and ornithology along with the rare and unusual.
