Brigden, G.A. Reid, Beatrice Sullivan, Edmund M. Morris, F.M. Bell-Smith, Clara S. Hagarty & others, With a facsimile letter from the Countess of Aberdeen and an Introduction by G.R. Parkin, an Advertisement by James Mavor, with a catalogue of the drawings, pp49-51 & List of Ladies and Gentlemen who composed the sets, pp52-54, in the original mustard yellow cloth, title stamped in red on the upper cover, crest of the City of Toronto stamped in blind on the bottom cover, bevelled boards, fine copy, a rare book. Victorian - era ball given by Their Excellencies the Governor-General and the Countess of Aberdeen, being mainly a collection of drawings by various artists produced under the direction of James Mavor. Issued in aid of The Victorian Order of Nurse, which Lady Aberdeen had founded. - "The whole issue of this book consists of seventy copies, numbered 1 to 70, containing proofs of the drawings, on large paper, seven proofs in each copy being on Japanese paper; three copies marked A, B and C, also on large paper, for the securing of copyright; and five hundred and fifty copies on small paper.
