The Book of the Wind is a beautifully illustrated, heartwarming adventure about Little Wind, who leaves his northern home and sets out on an extraordinary journey to discover the mysterious South. Along the way, he crosses seas and deserts, encounters danger, makes new friends, helps those in need, and discovers the true meaning of courage, kindness, freedom, family, and home.
A poetic story for children and parents about growing up, discovering the world, and finding where you truly belong.

Egor Klopenko’s latest work follows the delightful pattern of his previous works. It is a tender, beautifully crafted journey that gives form and purpose to an unseen element of our world.
The book follows the journey of Little Wind, as this Northern native travels south on a voyage of discovery. The reader is treated to rich, visual storytelling, sumptuous illustrations and lyrical phrasing. What is remarkable, though, is Egor’s ability to captivate young readers while offering the young-at-heart (like me!) a sense of wonder in our jaded moments.

I loved this story! I couldn't put it down. The wind is alive! Here is my review. Egor Klopenko’s "The Book of the Wind" is full of nostalgia. It is a modern classic. Beautifully illustrated to capture the eyes of reader, as the story of the wind folds in a way that opens the imagination. The wind is alive and has personality, a notion I had never considered before reading this. I think readers, young and old, will find this book worth sharing for generations to come.

A Beautiful Story About Freedom, Kindness, and Home. The Book of the Wind is a lovely children's story. Little Wind is a charming character, and his journey from the North to the South is an adventure worth following, picking up lessons about courage, friendship, and what it actually means to have a home. The bigger ideas are in there, but they are handled with a light touch. Children can just enjoy the story, and adults will catch the quieter one running underneath it. The part that stayed with me was his relationship with his parents. There is real tenderness in it, and the ending brings everything back around in a way I did not see coming. The illustrations deserve a mention too. They have a slightly dreamlike quality that gives the whole book a character of its own. A warm, imaginative read, and a lovely one to share with a child.
