Hey there. I'm Michael. I don't like talking about myself so this isn't easy (Caleb is making me do this). I enjoy my work, love my family, and am a follower of Jesus Christ.
I enjoy living life on the edge and having lots of fun. That's probably why I took Caleb skydiving for his 18th birthday. I'm taking my other son, Jeremy, when he turns 18 also—but plan to jump from 12,000 feet this time for a longer free-fall. Exhilarating!

Jill and I were married in 1990, have 3 children, are foster parents, and are looking to adopt another daughter.
In my spare time (whatever that is) you can find me preparing to teach a lesson for our youth group at church, serving someone, or taking care of the many "to do" items Jill has for me.
Though I'll turn 50 this year, I act like I'm in my 30s. The only thing that hints at my age is my graying hair. Scripture says gray hair is attained through a righteous life —I’ll accept that (Proverbs 16:31). I have an infectious laugh, am very “punny,” and love speaking in public.
I read many books, and I enjoy bike riding and taking walks in the woods near our home. I'm a morning person who loves strong, black coffee most anytime of day (ask me sometime why I drink it black).
