Binding of red textured cloth with black titles, clean and unmarked, light corner wear, tight & solid binding. Pages clean, unmarked, lightly toned. Prev owner bookplate and short inscription on endpapers. Ted Malone's Between the Bookends radio program was broadcast on the CBS radio network beginning in 1935 and was presented two to five times a week for thirty years. An "endless adventure between the gatweay Between the Bookends", with poetry of many poets who have translated certain terms--like freedom, hope, liberty--in their poetry.
