""लेखक एक रासायनिक अभियंता है, जिसने पंजाब यूनिवर्सिटी चंडीगढ़ से 1973 में पेट्रोलियम विशेषज्ञता के साथ डिग्री प्राप्त की। 50 वर्ष से अधिक समय तक, निजी, सार्वजनिक व बहुराष्ट्रीय समूहों की औद्योगिक इकाइयों में, तकनीकी, मार्केटिंग व प्रबंधीय कार्य भार संभालते हुए, अनेक राज्यों, देशों व विभिन्न सामाजिक स्तर के लोगों के साथ काम करने, और उन्हें जानने समझने का अवसर मिला। बहुरंगी कार्य दलों, कार्य नेताओं, व निजी जीवन से, मानव मात्र के बारे में मिली अंतर्दृष्टि बेमोल रही, सबसे बड़ी सीख भी। लेखन की शुरुआत मानव संबंधों व मन के रंगों के खेल देख कर हुई। अबतक अंग्रेजी में एक पुस्तक (जो अभी छपने के लिए नहीं दी है) और करीब २०० कविताएं हिंदी में लिखी हैं।""
