SECOND EDITION, REVISED, SECOND IMPRESSION, 1927 hardcover, sewn-bound in brown cloth, with publisher-pasted paper title/author label on spine, is in FAIR condition, having the label showing rubbing/scuffing, and rest of spine and covers the same (see photos); some stains to front and back covers, and small bubbled area at bottom front cover; covers show a slight splay; some foxing to vertical closed page edges; foxing to both endpaper sections; former owner (a Los Angeles advertising firm c. 1940s, Hillman-Shane, created by David Hillman and Maxwell Shane) has their bookplate on first free endpaper; tiny tear on right edge of title-page; some small bottom corner crimping from title-page to p.21; small publisher sticker (which is a duplicate of spine label) on last fixed endpaper (sticker is partially attached--could be a replacement label if original damaged).
