Kimberly Garts Crum enjoyed a social work career before she became a creative writer. Now, she is the sole proprietor of Shape & Flow Writing Instruction, a studio located in a repurposed slaughterhouse. There, she teaches memoir and personal essay to aspiring writers who want to tell true stories, for posterity or publication. Kim has published in journalistic, literary and academic venues. She is working on the final draft of a segmented memoir titled, Slouching Toward Self-Actualization.

Bonnie Omer Johnson received an MFA in Writing from Spalding University's School of Creative and Professional Studies in 2004 as an empty nester. She currently lives in Louisville, KY and is an adjunct professor at Bellarmine University. Fiction and creative non-fiction projects marinating in a drawer include two finished novels, Death & Butter, and the historical 1932. Also in its final stages is a collection of essays titled Lies We Believe Until We Learn the Truth. She is creative consultant at The Write Place where she holds workshops and coaches private clients.
