Borderline (Paperback or Softback)

Borderline is the third book of Salvadoran poet Andrés Norman Castro. It was published in Guatemala in the city of Quetzaltenango by Editorial Chuleta de Cerdo.

In this book, the author explores everyday poetry with the language and places of the common man. It is a meeting of brief encounters in everyday life, full of tenderness, irony and sarcasm.

Borderline is the discovery of the author`s own poetic voice and it is a poetic feast even for those who do not read poetry. This book is therefore an invitation to enter into the routine, under the eyes of humor and irony of its author.

What has been said about "Borderline":

"Fragmentary and irreverent writing, its anti-poetry but without pomp; written in lower case."
- Roberto Mascaró (Uruguayan poet)

"They seem like a big man's reflections because of the plain language and well-placed blows."
- Alejandro Marré (Guatemalan poet)

"Borderline is the essence and the laughter of a poet"
- Jonathan Velásquez (Salvadoran poet)

"Borderline hits the target with ease, humor, clarity and tenderness; of course, where the author will not be triumphant. But it will not be because he didn`t dare to do a cartwheel on the brink of the abyss. "
- Ernesto Gonzales Barnert (Chilean poet)

"Borderline is where irony flaunts its best clothes and reality is interpreted with that sense of humor that most of us forget to the frightening hug of routine."
- Ludwig Varela (Honduran poet)
