About the Author
Bill Nowlin has written a couple of dozen books on the Boston Red Sox, including Red Sox Threads and Day by Day with the Boston Red Sox. He's also edited a number of "team books" on the Red Sox, in collaboration with colleagues from the Society of American Baseball Research (SABR), which he serves as Vice President. Among the SABR books are The 1967 Impossible Dream Red Sox and books on the 1918 Sox, the 1939 team, the 1948 team, and the 1975 team. A volume on the 1912 Red Sox is in the works.
