London: John Murray, 1860. New edition, thoroughly revised, with much additional matter. Edited by John Wilson Croker. xxiv+674p. 12 plates including frontispiece and engraved title-page. Paper tanned, foxing to one or two plates but not to text. Marbled page edges and endpapers. Bound in full brown calf, rubbed and worn at extremities, partly faded. Double gilt line to borders of boards, five raised bands to spine, elaborate gilt decoration in compartments. Owner's name on blank page after front endpaper.
