The Bottle from Across the Ocean

Aya is fourteen and feels lonely in Indonesia. She writes a message of hope, places it in a bottle, and throws it into the sea.

Far away in Australia, Jana is also fourteen. Her dog, Finn, finds the bottle on the beach.

What follows is a four-year email friendship that crosses a vast ocean. They share their quietest fears and biggest dreams, showing that they are braver and kinder than they believe.

But can a bond formed across continents truly survive meeting face-to-face?

This is a heartfelt story about the power of reaching out and the beautiful truth that even the widest sea is not too large for friendship to cross.

Four years, two continents, one chance to meet.
