Charming children's story about an Irish Setter puppy & the Hoppit family of bunnies that live nearby. Illustrated by the author on every one of the 48 pages. Orig. published in 1934, this is the Second Edition from 1959. Hardcover small 4to (8.50" x 10.25") has burnt orange cloth covered boards stamped with a black bunny to front & lettering to front/spine. Condition is Fine, marred only by mild bumping to lower outer corners. Else, completely clean, binding strong & straight, pages creamy white with a whisper of tanning. The unclipped DJ (with orig. $2.50 price intact to lower front flap) is VG+, missing a small section (1/2" x 1") at upper-outer corner of front cover & with light foxing all around title, same cover; no fading; nicely protected in new clear mylar cover free!
