Six auction catalogues from The Anderson Galleries, dated from 1924 to 1928, bound in a tan cloth hardcover binding with Priced Sales Catalogue printed on the spine in gilt. All six catalogues have prices pencilled in next to the items, and have their original covers bound in. Includes several important sales, including parts one, two and three of The Important Collection of American Antiques from the King Hooper Mansion, Marblehead, Massachusetts, sold by order of I. [Israel] Sack; A Collection of Early American and Old English Furniture, Silver, Glass, China & Contemporary Embellishments to be sold by order of Mr. Ross H. Maynard, East Middlebury, Vermont; Rare Prints by N. Currier and Currier & Ives, the Collection of Fred J. Peters of Flushing, Long Island (Part Two); and Important American Furniture Collected by the Well Known Connoisseur Mr. Herbert Lawton, Boston, Mass. The catalogues belonged to noted antiquarian Julia D. S. Snow (1891-1984) of Greenfield, Massachusetts, with her name prominently written on the front covers and some of her scholarly and frequently pointed remarks scattered throughout.
