Boundary Waters ABC

Celebrate the BWCAW, one letter at a time.

The Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness is a pristine place. Whether your memory is a backcountry camping adventure or a chance moose encounter, this book written by Wes Erwin and illustrated by Kathie Kemp will help you share the beauty of the Boundary Waters with your child, one letter at a time. They will come to love and preserve this great American wilderness.

Wesley J. Erwin is married to Debby and is the dad of two sons: Wyatt and Jordan. He is a licensed counselor and holds a doctorate in Counseling and Human Development from the University of Iowa. He enjoys canoeing and camping and has canoed frequently in the Boundary Waters and other wilderness areas. He and his family live in Shoreview, Minnesota. Native to California, Kathie Kemp roamed the High Sierras wilderness from a very young age. Her love of the outdoors continues uninterrupted years later as a designer, illustrator and fine artist focusing on the natural world. Since graduating from the University of California, San Diego, Kathie has had a camera in one hand and a paintbrush in the other. She lives with her husband, Chris, and a bunch of animals on a lake in North Carolina. She can be contacted at www.kathiekemp.com.
