This David McKay published book was last copyrighted in 1899 and is in Fine condition. It is 7-1/2" x 5", has 215 numbered pages followed by 8 pages of ads; if it was issued with a jacket, there is no jacket now; the subtitle is 'A Story of Frontier Journalism'. The exterior looks almost brand new: it is square, extremely clean, with its front panel and spine illustrations unmarred--even the fragile white is undamaged. There are no corner bumps or edge dings and spine ends are very lightly bumped without damage. Except for an inked 1927 inscription on the FFEP from a teacher to a prized student, the interior is very clean and completely free of writing, stray marks, stains and page damage.
