Originally printed published in 1879. An account of two English boys in Otago New Zealand from 1859 to 1867. The text was expanded from a contemporary diary. It gives a good account of Papakaio, Omarama and other runs at the period of the gold rush giving an interesting insight of the hard work, rough conditions they encountered. CONDITION 258 pages Copy very bright and crisp. DJ has label residue to front. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
