This 1893 copyrighted book is in VG condition. It is 7-1/2" x 4-3/4" with 264 numbered pages followed by nearly 50 unnumbered pages of ads; if it was issued with a jacket, there is no jacket now. This book is square, very clean, free of corner bumps and edge dings; lower corners show a little wear and spine ends are lightly bumped without fabric damage. The bottom edges have very little wear. Front panel has two small bleach-type stains (see photo) next to the title; other than those flaws, the exterior is in excellent condition--the spine is especially attractive. The interior is also in excellent condition. Except for a penciled name on the FFEP, the interior is very clean and completely free of writing, stray marks, stains and page damage. There is a page listing the frontis and about 30 other illustration. Hinges are quite strong and not damaged in any way; the paper is slightly toned and is quite flexible.
