The Boy Who Collected the Light (Cozy Readings)

The Boy Who Collected the Light is a novel about who we truly are when no one is watching: a weave of memories, fears, old wounds, and small glimmers that only ask to be seen.
Nilo lives with his grandmother in a town that feels half-asleep—until one day he finds a forgotten jar, a light that once belonged to his grandfather, and a gift he never knew he had.
From then on, the lights begin to call to him: lights that tremble, lights that remember, lights hidden inside glasses, chipped cups, pinball machines, and bottles—each one holding emotions too big to be left alone. And Nilo learns that some lights can heal… while others, when neglected, turn into shadows.
Guided by Lumina—a luminous little creature who speaks in her own strange language—Nilo steps into his grandfather’s shop and discovers the Ledger of Saved Days, an ancient book that writes by itself, recording the stories that deserve to remain.
Page by page, he understands that being a Keeper isn’t about collecting magic. It’s about noticing what others are afraid to look at: a child’s loneliness, an endless wait, a memory that hurts, a promise that was never kept.
And when a light tied to Nilo’s own deepest fear is about to go out for good, he will have to choose: protect himself… or give away a piece of who he is.

A choice that will change everything.
A cozy, heartbreaking, tender, and luminous story—about inheritance, love, fragility, and courage.
Because lights don’t want to be rescued.
They want to be seen.
