In a world buried beneath a lifeless Ash Field where warmth and sunlight have become myths, Lio survives as a scavenger who occasionally discovers impossible remnants hidden in the dead landscape. When he uncovers a small ember beneath the ash—an object that defies physics, shifting between states of light, heat, and presence—it marks him with a strange luminous fracture in his hand and begins to exert an unsettling awareness, as if it recognizes him. As the ember reacts to observation, alters the environment, and seems to communicate through intent rather than language, Lio realizes it is not a simple relic but a signal or fragment of something vast that still exists beyond the sealed sky.
