Some years ago, in the old mill town of Lowell, Massachusetts, lived a boy named Guy DeMonde who was at once a dreamer and sometimes a loner. When he wasn't off by himself dreaming in his tree house, Guy spent time with a tight knit group of neighborhood pals with whom he embarked on the usual round of small adventures that built camaraderie and fond memories. About the Author

Pierre V. Comtois has been the editor and publisher of Fungi, the Magazine of Fantasy and Weird Fiction since 1984 and has had a number of books released by numerous publishers including A Well Ordered Universe and Scheduled for Extinction from Desert Breeze Publishers; Talismanic and The Science Agents trilogy from Rogue Phoenix Press; and four volumes dealing with Marvel Comics including Marvel Comics in the 1980s: An Issue by Issue Field Guide to a Pop Culture Phenomenon, Marvel Comics in the 1970s, Marvel Comics in the 1960s, and Marvel Comics 1960-1964 by Twomorrows Publishers. Non-fiction releases include Hazardous History: Fantastic Cinema in the Years Before CGI; and Gats, Gams, and Guts: the Dark World of Film Noir. Forthcoming in 2026 will be Marvel Comics 1965-1969.
