Rita Mayer, MS, MLS, has worn many hats as a teacher, a freelance writer, and a librarian in the United States and abroad. Her past work as a writer includes contributions to community and regional newspapers, magazines, and academia. She thinks her current role as a librarian is by far the most fun job she has ever had.Rita enjoys working with children, especially when promoting literacy, sharing a love of learning, and passing along joy through storytelling and music.
