Befor e the show, Dixie begins to reminisce about her career and long partnership with Eddie which began in 1942 at a USO Christmas show in London. Eddie took an imme diate dislike to her, but their on-stage repartie was a hit with the audience an d thus began a long and successful career. This took them through the War, the M cCarthy era and up to the Vietnam War, but all along their off-stage relationshi p never changed - Dixie even stopped talking to Eddie at one point. So this reun ion for the award ceremony is not something either of them are looking forward t o.

Shipping terms
All our books are sent using the following method of packaging, but if you prefer a different method please contact us to arrange your specific requirements. Bubble wrap packaging with tissue paper, or boxed in custom made cardboard packaging from recycled cardboard. Shipping rates are based on 500g per book, but for unusually heavy books you may be contacted for any additional cost.
