She has a degree in Nutrition and Fitness from Florida State University and has subsequently trained and been consult to more than 1000 individuals. Since 1991 she has worked with corporate executives and athletes to stay at home moms and beginning weight trainers. She worked as a personal health consultant/trainer in New York City at the Waldorf Astoria where her clients included Former Mayor Ed Koch. She lives in Sylva, North Carolina.
